Mike Andrews has been racing motocross since 1980. His championship performances have earned him over 500 victories, racking up several regional titles and district championships. His professional career began in 1983 when he competed in AMA Supercross and Outdoor National Events; scoring championship points and a national ranking.

In 1994 Mike retired from professional competition and competed on the local level until 1996. Longtime friend and competitor Damon Bradshaw hired Mike to work as his mechanic during his comeback effort.

During his career Mike has been involved in the R&D area for Honda of Japan, American Honda, Yamaha Motor Corporation, Pro-Circuit, Factory Connection, Tuf Racing, Suzuki, Dyno-Port Pipes, and Maxis Tires. As a test rider for Tuf Racing, he was the major contributor of field data for the 1989 Suzuki RM125 engine design.

Today Mike still races on the local level and stays busy with the daily operation of his practice facility and providing young riders with private instruction.
