Andrews Motorsports
is now the primary engine builder for Pro Challenge race cars.
Pro Challenge race cars are
scale replicas of Sprint Cup racers that use Kawasaki ZX1100 and ZZR1200
engines to produce 140 horsepower and almost 150 mph! New in 2009, the Yamaha 1250 engine will be legal in Pro Challenge competition. At just 1,300 pounds,
the car possesses unbelievable weight-to-horsepower ratio as fast as larger
late models on 3/8 and 1/2-mile tracks.
Available in popular Dodge,
Pontiac, Monte Carlo, Taurus and Craftsman truck body styles, the Pro
Challenge Oval Racer offers something for everybody. By combining distinctive
looks, durability and safety, it is the perfect race program for beginners
and veteran racers alike. Priced below $20,000, the Oval Racer is positioned
to become a major part of the short track racing community in North America. Visit
the Pro Challenge site for more information on the cars.
